Erin, the 'shot' in shot tower means shot gun pellets. They used to drop molten metal through holes at the top of the tower which formed spherical pellets as they fell and then cooled when they landed in water at the bottom.
The shot tower dates back to the 1890s and was preserved inside the Melbourne Central shopping centre when it was built in the early 1990s.

* The view of the city at night from the Swan Street Bridge.
* The Windsor end of Chapel Street
* There's always a festival or major event happening.
