Love the angel at the top of pillar in the Johnston Street pic. Wonder if she has been added more recently, she looks clean and not weathered.

Obviously the "Bois and Charbon" building is where they kept their coal or coke, which is different to coal. I didn't think it was used much domestically. Great shot; I can almost see the 18th / 19th century people walking about.

* Brunswick Street
* Chapel Street Bazaar.
* It has a lane named after rock band AC/DC and a swimming pool named after a Prime Minister who is believed to have drowned at sea
* Its vibrant multiculturalism
* Royal Botanic Gardens.
* Shady Caroline Street in South Yarra
* The disco balls hanging above Rankins Lane in the city
