To Willy and back

I caught the ferry to Williamstown for lunch and a wander around today.

This is Victoria Dock.

Something I have promised myself to do myself one day. I like old Willie Town.

Hehe. Yeah, I like it too. My friend thinks it's ripe for redevelopment, and I suppose it is, but I like it the way it is - a bit sleepy.

I found out today there is a jet boat you can get from St Kilda to Williamstown. Much more fun than the slow ferry, I imagine.

I've never been to Williamstown. Looks nice though! I love the row of houses.

* It has a lane named after rock band AC/DC and a swimming pool named after a Prime Minister who is believed to have drowned at sea
* Its vibrant multiculturalism
