Another one...

Told you I can't get enough of these furry things. This one taken near Poverty Gully in the Castlemaine Diggings National Heritage Park (more photos of my day trip to come).

Metallic

The river looked like silver on my way home tonight (even when not in B&W)

Floral Sunday

Droopy daisy

I love the formation of the purple bits on this hibiscus (not sure if they're stamens or pistils)

Row of shops

The hazy golden light caught my eye as I crossed Collins Street tonight

To Willy and back

I caught the ferry to Williamstown for lunch and a wander around today.
This is Victoria Dock.

Looking back towards the city

HMAS Castlemaine at Williamstown's Gem Pier. It's a maritime museum.

A row of lovely houses on Ann Street

Low tide on a very grey day

Dead centre of town (feel free to groan)

I visited the Melbourne General Cemetery today, one of the most historically significant cemeteries in Australia.

Old graves and office towers

Beats fake flowers, I suppose

For some reason I thought the Melbourne General Cemetery would be better maintained.
So many old graves in a state of pitiful disrepair.

Cushion

In the Botanic Gardens. We used to call these flowers billy buttons, though a Google
search suggests billy buttons are something else.
