Grunge

Spencer Street

The sunshine coaxed me out of my building for a walk at lunch time today. The area I work now - the north west of the CBD - is a little grungey and seedy, but I like it. There's a lot of old brick and bluestone buildings and warehouses...and some barbed wire on this construction site near the corner of Little Bourke and Spencer Streets.

  1. Nice photos. Love that look. I like the more seedy parts of Melb.

  2. Thanks. Me too. It's got character. I really like old brickwork and bluesone, faded signage and cobbled grafitti-riddled alleyways.

  3. Very 50s looking. I can just see a young James Dean standing there....ciggie in his mouth.
