Grasshopper
My travelling companion on the 11.45 am Werribee train calmly poses for photos (in front of my leg).

Happy birthday, Dad
It was my Dad's 60th birthday yesterday. This is one of my favourite photos of Dad, my brother and me, taken at Lakes Entrance when I was about 3 or 4 (that's me on the right). I love the silly expression on Dad's face, my brother's cheesy grin and our pointy heads. It's one of a bunch of old photos I have edited and uploaded to a digital photo frame to give to Dad for his birthday.

Old meets new
I love the contrast between the old brickwork of the Rialto Building and the modern architecture of the base of the Rialto Towers

The Tan...
...became The Green after the storm yesterday afternoon. A lone dog walker pounds what is normally a gravel track.

Super graveyard special
I visited the Boroondara Cemetery in Kew with my camera today. The conditions were difficult (full story here), so they didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped.
The elaborate ceiling of a very, very fancy grave. A famly crypt maybe?
The statues atop the grave. Not sure what that is poking out of his head.
The old (and best) part of the cemetery

Heading to Etihad...
...for the George Michael concert. (I had a free ticket. It was OK. He didn't sing Wake me Up Before You Go Go.)
