Temple of the Winds

...or the ceiling thereof. I love the name Temple of the Winds. It sounds like something from a fantasy novel*...not that I actually read fantasy novels. The Temple  is an old, domed structure perched at the highest point of the Royal Botanic Gardens.

*and what do you know? There is a fantasy novel by that name, which I discovered as soon as I googled it to find the link.

  1. HH ... I read that as "doomed". I like how you have placed it off-centre. Is it my wishful thinking, or is it a bit art-deco-ish?

  2. Hi Julie. It was built in 1873, so quite a bit earlier than the art deco period. Any resemblance to art-deco purely coincidental ;).
