Spotted on my way to drinks on Little Lonsdale Street last night. This is the rear of the Wesley Church fronting Lonsdale Street.

That's cool! Pity about the graffiti on it...
ReplyDeleteApart from the graffiti, even with it, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it is the entrance for nefarious goings-on!
ReplyDeleteYes, I was irritated about the graffiti too and I briefly attempted to retouch it, but then decided I couldn't be bothered. It is what it is. It just seems like every time I see a cool old door some idiot has spray painted a tag on it. Grrr.
ReplyDeleteThe graffiti makes it the beautiful shot that it is, take it away and it's just a static and boring old door - the graffiti conveys the fact that it is a part of a living city.
ReplyDeleteI really dont get why people cant appreciate things like this for what they are - yes, some graffiti is ugly, but its also quite beautiful for all its harshness, I guess it must just be hard for some people to look at things from a differing perspective in order to see that.
If you had of edited out the graff, it would have been nowhere near as interesting as it is.
