I think mushrooms (or whatever they are called) are beautiful. I also love to eat them but ... not knowing which ones are poisonous or which ones are growing on toxic ground like an old orchard (and hence poisonous) ... I stick to just taking their pictures. A place near the coast where I go camping has glow in the dark mushrooms. Now that is a treat! for the eyes only!
