Girl in New York: merry-go-rounds

The almost 100-year-old carousel at Prospect Park in Brooklyn.

And the carousel at Coney Island:

Girl in New York: the Empire State Building

Views from the 86th floor of the Empire State Building, and one from the Top of the Rock.

The beautiful Chrysler Building

The habour and Statue of Liberty

Hudson River on the left and a bit of Central Park at right

I don't know what this building is, but I love it. You can see it in the photo above, middle left.

The Flatiron Building on the left and Fifth Avenue

The Chrysler Building (far left) and Empire State Building (far right) from the Top of the Rock Observation Deck at the Rockefeller Centre...Not a very sharp photo thanks to two Long Island iced teas

Girl in New York: Central Park

I've been back home for a week now (already!), but it's taken me a while to get back on top of things and edit my 1,500+ photos for your consumption. Here is the first instalment of many:

A bridge over The Pond

A member of a hip hop crew doing his thing

And another one...

Bow Bridge and row boats on The Lake

More boats on The Lake

A fun run of some sort in the northern end of the park

Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir

Belvedere Castle (a real castle) and Turtle Pond

Girl heading for New York

As some of you might be aware, I'm boarding a plane to New York on Friday. Yays!  I'll be there for two weeks.

My plan is to try to keep up my blogging if I can, so stay tuned for something really different! It might not be frequent, but I'll see how I go.

In any case, I will show you my favourite photos after I return.
