Testing, testing...

Workmen were testing the LCD lights in the shell of the new stadium tonight. It's very close to completion. I'm not a great fan of modern architecture, but I love this stadium.

Cloudy

It's been a while since I've posted a cloud shot. I took this one last week. I'm giving you a break from train platforms.

Platform 13

Can you tell I've been travelling by train a lot lately? Waiting for the 10.13 Sandringham train at Flinders Street Station tonight.

Waiting for the train

Putting my feet up at Richmond Station

88 floors up

The Docklands from Eureka Tower. On the right, just beside in from that tall dark building, you can see what remains of the Southern Star Observation Wheel.

The sports and entertainment complex, with the new stadium in the middle of the shot. Today I found out it's called AAMI Park. To the left of that are the MCG and the two tennis centres. I live just over the river from AAMI Park. Not in that big white house. The Governor of Victoria lives there.

Hoppers

Getting off the train tonight at Hoppers Crossing...40 minutes to get there and two hours to get back to the city thanks to track work, a replacement bus and Metro Trains' ineptitude.
